Admission Procedure

Seshadripuram Degree College, Mysore is Affiliated with B.N. Bahadur Institute of Management Studies, Manasagangotri, University of Mysore, Mysore, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and is a NAAC-accredited college with B++ Grade. The college offers a two-year full-time MBA degree program, strategically designed to nurture future managers and leaders. The program serves as a comprehensive platform for student executives, facilitating the assimilation of procedural, theoretical, and applied aspects of management. Its primary objective is to confer an MBA Degree, equipping students with the skills, knowledge, leadership qualities, and professional competence required to excel in managerial roles across industries.

Duration of the Course

The MBA program extends over 4 semesters spanning 2 years.

• Each academic year consists of two semesters of 16 weeks duration.
• Each semester includes not less than 90 working days of classroom teaching, internship, and project work (Master Thesis).
• At the end of each semester, an End-Semester Examination will be conducted by the University.

Eligibility

• Any National Level Aptitude Test such as KMAT / PGCET.
• Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4/5) in English Medium from a UGC-recognized institution with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories).
• Students appearing for their Final Year Degree Examinations are also eligible to apply. However, admission will be confirmed subject to securing a minimum aggregate of 50% in the Undergraduate Degree.
• Government Quota admission is available primarily for students hailing from institutions affiliated to Universities within Karnataka State, based on PGCET ranking as per Government norms.

How to Apply

Interested students fulfilling the eligibility criteria can:

• Download the Application Form and submit it to the College address, or
• Submit the application online through the official College website, or
• Collect the Application Form directly from the College office. Photocopies of all mark sheets from SSLC/Matriculation to Degree along with the Aptitude Test Score Card must be submitted along with the completed Application Form.

Medium of Instruction

As the MBA is a professional program with global relevance, the medium of instruction and examination shall be English only.
